Rebbe Steiner Sajele of Kerestir acquired the highest Torah knowledge and wisdom while studying in Liska, in the house of Reb Hershele Friedmann. This knowledge led him to his great journey in the service of the community.

In Reb Hershele Friedman's time, Liska (Olaszliszka) rose as a spiritual center for Hasidism, where thousands gathered to meet him.

The rich tradition of Moshe Teitelbaum.

Hershele's initial knowledge was acquired by Yismach Moshe, who was the Rebbe of Ujhely (Sátoraljaújhely).  Teitelbaum nominated Hershele as his successor, whose wisdom travels the world every day.
